Lunch Lecture: Building a New Bridge – How to Predict its Impacts on Cycling?

Welcome to lunch lecture: “Building a New Bridge – How to Predict its Impacts on Cycling?

This time we will focus om mobility. We know that more people in the cities must walk and/or cycle or take the bus instead of taking their car in the years to come.

Peter Schön is Ph.D. candidate in work package 1 at FME ZEN. The theme for his thesis is urban mobility, availability and how it affects CO2 emissions.

He will give a short introduction to the term “betweenness”, as a transport model for active mobility. As an approach to modelling the impact of a proposed new bridge connecting By峥n and Tempe/Sluppen in Trondheim on the probability to cycle.

He will also share the results so far (preliminary, as we like to say 😉)

Bring your lunch box to the table and join in on Teams.

For those who are at ZEB Laboratory in Trondheim, please join Room 217 for coffee.

The session will be recorded.
